Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic, driven, and professional dental assistant to join our team! Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail oriented, professional, caring, and reliable. Experience is preferred but not required- we are willing to teach you! You must have exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We provide our patients with a personal experience during their visits! We enjoy a stress-free, laid-back atmosphere. Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair side manner
• Assist the doctor and/or hygienist during dental procedures
• Take high quality radiographs
• Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, document appropriate patient information and health history during the exam and treatment
• Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable
• Sterilize instruments/disinfect operatories
• Assist the front desk in scheduling patients’ follow up appointments
• Track the incoming/outgoing lab cases
• Monitor inventory of dental supplies
Experience:
• Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred, but not required)
Work details:
• One office location (Westerville)
• Part time
• No weekends, No Fridays
• No evenings
Education/Certification:
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
• Current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer certification required
Skills/Abilities:
• Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Professionalism and integrity
• Knowledge of dental instruments
• Well organized and reliable
• Ability to multi-task
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new program
